Married Dudley Boone Wilson, an engineer whose works included a Saul St. Marie bridge to Canada, a Chicago drainage canal, tunnels in the east, railroad tunnels out east, and railroad beds out west. Her father, Vincent Peyton, was a Civil War veteran of the 1st Kentucky Cavalry.

Johann Heinrich "Henry" Lambert (my 5G grandfather on my father's side), b. 1735 in Ottenberg, Rhineland, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany; d. Jan. 22, 1814, in Rural Retreat, Wythe County, Virginia. Immigrated from Germany to Pennsylvania in 1765 along with wife, Maria Magdalena. The couple had 11 children — the first three in Germany, the next four in Pennsylvania, and four more in Virginia. It's not clear when he moved to Virginia, but his son, Johann Jr., was born in Pennsylvania in 1775, so the family evidently stayed at least a decade. One online story at Ancestry.com indicates the family had relocted by 1784. Three generations later, Julian Dulaney Lambert — my paternal grandmother's grandfather — moved his family from Virginia to Kentucky.
